Bootlegging illegal alcohol was a very profitable business for people in the 1920's. One of the many reasons for smuggling it is for Speakeasy. These speakeasy's were secret places where the public could go to get a drink during prohibition. They were extremely popular because of the alcohol and the music that was played in there that would put anyone in a good mood. One of the most popular known bands that played in speakeasy's was The Jim Cullum Jazz Band, who played different kinds of Jazz within the speakeasy's.
